- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My actual care wasn't too bad. Nurses and ER were great. Watch out for the Dr. ripoff. Several of them will visit if you stay overnight and then you get several surprise bills from separate doctors that in effect did nothing but say hello and apparently didn't communicate because they acted unaware of the last doctor. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I went to the emergency department. It was good that there was no line. I walked it and they took me right away. I being young, and it being my first time at the er asked for help from one of the staff regarding my insurance information that I was giving them. He told me that I had to pay upfront for my hospital visit. Took my card and charged me. I came home to realize that I can get billed afterwards. On top of that the doctor didn't even give me any information about my condition or where to go from there. He just sent the nurse in with papers and told me to go home and read that.
